privacy policy
Effective April 23, 2026
PomodoroWidget is a pomodoro timer that runs entirely on your iPhone. Your privacy is simple to explain because the app has no backend and collects no data.
data collection
PomodoroWidget does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. The app has no account system, no analytics, and no crash reporting.
data stored on your device
Your settings and the currently running session are stored in an App Group UserDefaults container on your device, accessible only to PomodoroWidget and its widget extension. This includes your chosen focus and break durations, preset values, appearance preferences, and the active session state so the widget can render a live countdown. Deleting the app removes this data.
network access
PomodoroWidget does not make network requests. There are no servers, no remote configuration, and no update checks beyond the standard App Store mechanism.
notifications
If you grant notification permission, PomodoroWidget schedules local notifications so iOS can alert you at the end of a focus or break session. These notifications are generated on-device. No notification data leaves your phone.
tracking
PomodoroWidget does not track you across apps or websites and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
third parties
PomodoroWidget includes no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporters, or advertising networks.
changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. Since PomodoroWidget collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
